| Has to be the worst move I have seen of 2010, all about a child molester that gets away with murder until the last 5 minuets of the movie!!! Do not watch if you have children!!! |

| Decent, It would be a hard book to make into film, because it skips all over the place like the movie, I wish they would've showed the longer time span like the book and kept in the more realisticness of the book but I know you have to adapt to the audience 3 out of 5 stars |

| If you like a Hallmark type plot line with an overbearing narrator overdub - watch this.
Peter Jackson - what have you made?
Even the stunning performance of Mark Wahlberg and Susan Sarandon couldn't save this. |

| This is a slow movie. It is put together well, and does make you empathise with the characters etc. However, it is a bit boring. Too much was put in to making it artistic and not enough put in to the storey. Bit selfindulgent of the director/producer. |

| ps the whole point was that it was not 'Stranger danger', in most cases its someone the person knows. |

| While the subject matter is quite unsettling, the film is a fine portrayal of the family drama and anguish surrounding a missing child incident. Saoirse Ronan takes on a very demanding role and does an excellent job while Jackson brings the ideas of life and after-life together in beautifully realised cinema. All together a fine representation of the book. |
