Very good story. Some of the acting left a little to be desired. But still 4 stars when compared to other westerns... 3 stars when compared to other genres. If you like westerns this is definitely worth watching.

Typically, westerns are difficult to score (for me). Biographical westerns, well not so much. Should this encounter with all parties that were woven into this story be true, then I would score this one 5 out of 5. Great story, great acting, great "old west" authenticity, and believable at most twists and turns. Way to go, D'Onofrio! #Enjoy.
