Correction! Rodan! The Flying Monster was released in the United States in 1957. Tarantula was released in 1955. The year I viewed these features at a matinee was 1958, and not 1955. Thank you, Mom.

I scored this one 5 out of 5. I stood in line when this was first released at the FOX theater in Redwood City, CA. A Saturday matinee (1955), featuring this movie and another feature "Rodan! The Flying Monster." With apologies extended to all, this score was subjective, to say the least. Not too mention, Mr. Clint Eastwood also had a role in Tarantula! John Agar, Leo G. Carroll, and Mara Corday turned in performances suitable for merit of that time. Keep this around for the kids! Enjoy.
