| I remember the controversy the book started re: truthful account, or not true. The author, Lorenzo Carcaterra, has always maintained that this story is true, while relevant NYC youth authorities and criminal courts deny anything like this ever taking place. While this film makes one strong case, it remains up to the audience to choose which side. good luck with that. enjoy. |
