| This movie although beautiful. It is a very distorted view of true history.
Read the Wikipedia: History of Jamestown, Virginia (1607–99)if u want to know the true story of the first colony.
Then read Wikipedia: The New World (2005 film)The film maker did make great strides to depict life as it was in 1607 and filmed it close to the real location. |

| good film, i didnt give it the full 5 star as it is not really my sort of film, but still a great movie, i am sure most of you will love it , stick with it to the end |
