| funny, when I visited Notre Dame, I don't recall any mention in its history about it being the first place ever to suffer damage as a result of terrorist attacks on an aircraft that was the worlds first successful flying machine. Wait - aircraft in 1810 (or whenever this thing is set) - oh right, that part of history got wiped out when the Visigoths invaded the Roman Empire. No, wait, hang on, when was that again? Gee I guess history and human invention just got all mixed up in this movie. Of course had i just checked my brain in with my coat before watching, things would just be a lot easier all round. |

| Great swordplay and fight scenes and not bad acting but the dialogue was a bit annoyingly modern. |

| Such a good movie! Really a fun action adventure with so many great sets and sites. Andrew Davies' touch with the screenplay always adds just enough humour that we can accept the outrageous situations. |
